Majority of people know that ISP company, Tiscali, well, basically is struggling money wise at the moment and could probably go bust quite soon.

They accepted a bid from Sky, But talks have broken down..Trading suspended in italian stock market and banks have suspended payments

Anybody think they will get bought by Sky eventually...I know carphone warehouse was interested but the bid they put in wasn't good enough according to Tiscali.

Even though the talks have broken down, I still think SKY will buy Tiscali...but I think they'll hold off until Tiscali are desperate for a buyer lol.

A bit like Microsoft and Yahoo!, Yahoo rejected - Microsoft aren't bothering. Yahoo! are practically begging for Microsoft to buy them now as (Yahoo!) are struggling!

I believe Tiscali have actually been given a break, and debt collectors are restructuring loan repayments... Tiscali may just last longer without help lol

However by then I bet they'll be owned by sky lol

EDIT: Just a thought...don't O2 actually need a capable network before major advertising/incentives :)

I read somewhere on the net that Tiscali has stopped trading in the italian stock market something and banks agreed to suspend payments while they underwent a "re-finance of the company".

I'm banking on either Sky, Carphone Warehouse or Orange...Be one of those 3.

O2 have a network cable...At 2am while 4pm each day XD
