Yer that's right, i've poured a little bit of love into ADSL Helper in the form of finally making the forums fit in with the main site!

And that isn't all, I hope to launch a new articles/wiki section to the site soon, as soon as I can work out how to use it...lol!

It's full of demo content at the moment, and have a few niggles with CSS I need to sort out, but I think i'm getting somewhere!

Ah, thanks for that, that'll simply be because i've just copied the menu code from the main code and not checked it  lol, will sort that out when i'm next in the admin panel :)

Yep thats fine, it's basically the button that shows/hides the sidebar on the forum main page.

When I can work out how to move that without breaking the forum i'll move it lol

And it has today received some more loving.

With feedback from Spencer I have:

  • Revamped the site navigation
  • Improved the layout of the main site
  • Enhanced/tweaked the articles section a bit more
  • Redone the forum skin again to reflect the new look

It's starting to look like a nice little site now lol.

I have made a few more tweaks to the site again today.

The member box that used to be on the top right of the page (it may have overlapped over the advert in the header depending on your computer's resolutation)...

...has been removed. I have moved it's content onto the 'quick links' (think I may rename that now)...

...as well as that I have made a few tweaks to the css files where there were a few oddities, and have made some minor adjustments to the layout on the main site, basically i've turned the light blue bar that used to appear into an announcements bar, so its hidden unless there's an announcement...

...and to top it all off, i've hidden the 'Media' tab, lol.

I think thats it for now :)

That little "X" to close the sidebar still bugs me :)

Cant you move it 30-40 ish pixels to the left & up a little (stick it next to the rss feed icon) so its inside the main page area ?

I know I know Im being pedantic now , lol.

hehehe, JD unfortunately it's not easily moved, it was hard enough getting it to where it is lol.

On the plus side, it only appears when on the board index :)
