Unfortunately Spencer, I don't have the luxury of being able to tweak the SNR via my router as I don't have a router supported by the godly DMT tool.

As i've said, if I start having issues that i'll get O2 to simply stick it back up (which they have said they would do no problem).

I'm just happy i've got my faster speeds again, like I say, I could have swore I had a lower than 6db SNR on my line before BT started to dick about with cables.

Really sorry I missed this,

Call O2 up and ask them to transfer you back onto standard ADSL as it ADSL 2 will do jack on your loop loss anyway....If its anything like what happened with mine, your attenuation will drop a little too

But the maximum I got with normal ADSL was 2mbps, it's why I was so glad to go onto ADSL2, because it effectively doubled me speed

By going back to G.DMT you may actually see a better sync rate...ADSL 2 isn't really good for longer lines...pushes attenuation up which screws everything up.

Switch back onto G.DMT and make intermittent sync
