How about allowing people to be able to have there .jpg's of there manual test results be uploaded to your server ?

that way i could give them a simple link to there pic for posting in forums just as speedtest.net do. I have no idea how many people might use it but i know that having to upload there pics to a file host like photo bucket, get the link then go back to there forum, then paste the link is a bit of a put off.

the file size is 65KB each and they would only get uploaded if the user requested to, (not every time a manual test was run)

look like this:-
Attached File  result_10_30_23_13_16.jpg (66.83K)
Number of downloads: 1

what you think Ashley?

Thx for your time,

i'll have a think about it, my major concern here is bandwidth consumption.

If I do go ahead with it, for now it would have to be a "Beta" feature with something that would allow me to disable it if theres a problem (similar to how you did the thinkbroadband one), and bare in mind that I may have to pull the service if the bandwidth useage gets too much.

I'll speak to you in detail about it later/tomorrow anyway as I have to pick the parents up from the airport now.

well i have not even thought about how i might go about it yet and there's a good chance i might not get around to it at all.

I just wanted to know if the possibility was there before i even think about it.

Thing is if , and thats a very big "If" , people did start using it it would be akin to advertising each time they posted it on a forum, and the more interest the app gets the more interest the forum gets :)

Thx Ashley.
