OK, I have finally gotten round to having a play with your new software...just a few things to start you off lol...
  • First off, when I first run the program I get two windows, the main window and the edit window.
  • When I click the red X in the edit window it seems to close the program altogether.
  • I can't seem to re-run the program after I close it. It seems to leave a process in Task Manager, and that has to be killer before i'm able to run the program.
  • You've mispelt Cancel in the menu window thingy lol

Sorry lol

yea your supposed to, when it run by loading windows it will be hidden, but the two windows always go together.

the red close button is to completely close the app, all other methods of close, the close X, minimise, do a paste etc just hide the window away.

see last answer, your not closing it by clicking the "x" close in top right corner just hiding it away. to close completely hit the red close button.

KK this one ill accept :P , its sorted now.

just finished the picture capturing part of the prog, will give it out soon.

the idea of the prog is that its always running in the background , thats why there is only 1 button to completely close the process.

iv also made it now so that if the app losses focus ie you click another window it will now also hide away.

Thx for your time,

i amuse you haven't read the .txt file that i sent with it. i'll tell you the hot keys as you wont get much out of the prog without them :P

Ctrl + 0 show/hide app
Ctrl + Shift + Up cursor key = scroll Backwards through the saved clips (you dont need to open app window to paste clips !!)
Ctrl + Shift + Down cursor key = scroll Forwards through the saved clips

try hiding the app "ctrl + 0" or "x" close top corner, then scroll to a past clip "ctrl + Shift + up" then hit the normal paste keys ctrl + V into something, it pastes what you selected when shifting up and down through your clips.

idea is you dont ever really need to open the app window , it always keeps your clips and you can go through them and paste which ones u want all without opening the app window!

Thx for your time,

I did read the readme actually, had to to put it on the site (http://www.adslhelpe...k/software/jdcc) but for some strange reason the key combo wouldn't bring that window back :s

I suppose what would be nice is if there was an icon of some sort in the task tray, just to show the app is still running :P

BTW, do you like the little JD button i made lol, when I get chance i'll make some more, but with your software icons in them lol

the icon in tray idea is not what i like myself as the app is supposed to be pretty much invisible in the background, i dont like to take up tray space if i dont need to and i always have this running so i dont need it in the tray.

if you want to close it just hot Ctrl +0 "zero" and hit the red button, but mine is always running.

Thx for your time,

Ah it's working now, I was trying to use the 0 on the num pad lol, using the 0 on the number bar seems to work.

:P yea i did find it in the end, and i think it really great, very artistic of you :D

i must admit, i normally come in from my email link if something is replied to and when i come directly in i do come to the forum, but i do on occasion have a look at the front page.

about the tray icon, i'll do it for ya its no prob, but did get me thinking if you had the choice to have all your background processes and services show a tray icon would you?? lol

btw i just put up a new ver of this app.

Thx for your time,

Like I say, it was only a suggestion lol. If you'd have said it would have an impact on the program i'd have left it there lol :D

You have to have some element of art (not that i'm very good - honest) when it comes to website, else it just don't work!
