How To Change O2 Wireless Box Broadcast Channel

NOTE: Guide is for O2 Wireless Box II Users, Although I have a feeling will work for the 1st box and 3rd too

NOTE 2: This guide has been taken directly from my post on O2 Forums.


First of all access the wireless box configuration pages. If you dont know how to do this. Open up a webpage and in the address bar type 192.168.1.254

Once This loads you will see a list down the left hand side. Look for the one that says "Home Network". Click on this.



You should see something like the screenshot above..When you see this. Click on the Wireless Router name. In this case in the screenshot above it is called 02wirelessC47933.



Now on the top right of the webpage you should see a link that says "configure". Click this.



Once you have pressed configure you can change a wide array of settings on the 02 Wireless Box. To change the wireless channel. Look for "Channel Selection" and change this to "manual". Once you have done this look for the "Channel" (the next box that has a drop down) and you can change the channel. Once you have done this. Click apply.

Done.
